AEMME ROAD BIKE ToUR
Piedmont - Vineyards and Sea
A BIKE TOUR FROM THE PIEDMONT HILLS TO THE LIGURIAN SEA, TROUGHT NATURE, WINE AND FOOD, IN A UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE AREA

This unusual "Aemme road bike tour", by road bike, in the delightful Piedmont takes us from the splendid Langhe to the Ligurian Sea.
We begin our cycling holiday by crossing vineyards and very famous ancient villages, full of historical atmosphere, spending the week cycling along quiet back roads.
You will ride in territories and cities that have generated famous brands such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera d'Alba, Diano dAlba, Dolcetto dAlba and many others.
These areas are famous for the delicious cuisine that generates precious local recipes using the rich black and white truffles not to mention the many different types of tasty cheeses.
Suddenly on the third day we move on to the marine areas.
Here we will discover enchanted villages in unspoiled nature, pedaling on secondary roads away from traffic: gentle hills await us and at the end the Ligurian Sea, where we will cycle along the main road of the famous Milan-Sanremo cycling race.

The Piedmont road bike tour is organized for a small group of up to 7 people. During the tour you will always be followed by our Van Assistance.
The accommodations will be exclusive, personally chosen by our team, totally focused on attention to details to ensure the best cycling experience in Piedmont!

We ride in the Barolo wine area through an incredible landscape of rolling hills surrounded by vineyards, with typical ancient villages.
This is a perfect place for a cycling holidays: a continuous ups and downs, where we start our fantastic cycling experience.
Obviously we cannot miss a stop to enjoy a delicious cappuccino and croissant in some of the famous villages of the area.
Cerreto Langhe, Monforte dAlba, Barolo, Diano dAlba are the enchanting villages where we aim to walk along quiet side streets.
A delicious dinner with local organic wine tasting closes this first day.

DAY 3-The Beautiful Langhe 68km
Today we will enter the south-east area of ??the Langhe.
Starting from Alba we head towards our first town of the day: Canelli.
This area and its white wine, Asti Spumante, were named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014.
Continuing to pedal we meet more interesting and important historical centers such as San Stefano Belbo, Bubbio, Benevello and many others.
We enjoy an unforgettable day on a bicycle, away from traffic and in a fairytale atmosphere.
It is not really possible to miss the pleasure of our daily "espresso and cappuccino" in some of the ancient squares of these towns.
A refreshing "Spritz" as an appetizer before dinner, then treat yourself to a rewarding and delicious dinner.

DAY 4-Heading to the Sea, 72 km
Today we have to pack because our cycling road towards the Ligurian Sea is waiting for us.
Today our bike tour takes us to experience a different landscape: we slowly pass from the vineyard countryside to wild hills.
This area divides the Piedmont Region from the Liguria Region. We ride through rolling hills, dealing with some demanding but short ascents followed by amusing descents.
The road between Murazzano and Montezemolo, a road that runs on a hill ridge with a breathtaking view on the both sides, is really beautiful .
Millesimo, a village in the High Bormida Valley in the Regional Park of Bric Tana, is our goal today.
This evening we have a new typical dinner, we try new flavors and taste a new kind of wine.

DAY 5-From the Mountains to the Sea
The day starts with a new mountain landscape cycling through some pretty villages to reach Calizzano.
Here begins our climb, 9 km long with an altitude difference of 400 m and an average gradient of 5%.
This easy climb takes place in a beautiful beech forest that guarantees a little cool even in the hottest hours of the day.
We ride in an alpine atmosphere, we are in the area of ??the Maritime Alps.
The pass is located at 1027 m above sea level and here we can admire some old barracks and a fortress built in 1883.
Finally we can see the Ligurian Sea to reach it we have to face a long but technically fun 18 km descent that takes us from the pass to the beach.
As a reward for our efforts, a fresh "Spritz" awaits us on the beach

DAY 6-The Ligurian Sea Loop 65Km
Today we completely change the scenario.
Liguria is really famous for its sea and its extraordinary beaches, but it is also known for its immaculate hinterland rich in floral crops, one of the most important products of this area.
We leave our accommodation after an energetic breakfast and begin to climb towards one of the countless tiny villages overlooking the sea.
With the mountain on one side and the sea on the other, we reach beautiful natural terraces with breathtaking sea views, and after a descent we can travel our last kilometers along the Milan-Sanremo, one of the most important cycling races of its international circuit, along the coast.
Our last dinner, on an exclusive terrace overlooking the sea, closes this unique bike tour from Piedmont to the sea.

DAY 7-Our last day has arrived.
After breakfast we say goodbye hoping to meet again on the occasion of a next cycling holiday together.
