DAY 2
Siena and Chianti Loop. 70km
Our first contact with this extraordinary region takes place in the Chianti hills area.
The famous Chianti wine, famous all over the world, got its name from this area.
Starting from our hotel in Siena we go directly to Gaiole in Chianti. Gaiole is the medieval name of the jay, crossing these gentle hills, surrounded by vineyards immersed in an enchanting landscape.
Later we arrive in Radda in Chianti where we will have the classic cappuccino and croissant in the magnificent old square.
After the stop, we will continue pedaling up and down, enjoying breathtaking views: vineyards and wilderness areas, crossing historicol villages.
Once at the hotel, we can relax in its swimming pool and get ready for our delicious dinner in Siena.
Overnight at Sangallo Park Hotel

DAY 3
Siena – Montalcino 75km
After an excellent breakfast, departure towards Monteroni D'Arbia on quieter secondary roads, through the magnificent Val d'Arbia.
We will then continue towards Asciano, with its splendid abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore founded in 1313.
Going up and down among hills and cypresses we arrive at Buonconvento, part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy, in the Ombrone valley.
The last stretch of the day of cycling takes us today to our destination: Montalcino.
This town is known for the production of the famous Brunello di Montalcino wine which can be considered, together with Barolo, the Italian red wine with the greatest longevity.
Brunello is never sold less than five years after the harvest, and becomes "Riserva" after at least six years.
Cozy accommodation and an excellent dinner based on local food and good wine conclude this first day on the bike.
Overnight at the Hotel dei Capitani

DAY 4
Montalcino Loop 68 km
A new unforgettable day awaits us.
Today we will come into contact with the exclusive Val d'Orcia, cycling on quiet side streets.
Val d'Orcia is characterized by pleasant landscape views and centers of medieval origin such as Pienza and Montalcino.
Cypress is the typical three that characterise the area.
Typical foods can be the "Pici", a fresh pasta, similar to spaghetti, which is made with water, flour and salt, "cinta senese" cured meats, is an Italian pig breed, exclusively reserved for pork meat of animals born, raised and slaughtered in Tuscany and the Pecorino, a typical Pienza sheep cheese.
We will start our day by tackling the descent from Montlcino to Torrenieri, then we will ride with continuous up and down through ancient villages, where we will take our  cappuccino and espresso maybe with a fresh croissant.
We must therefore absolutely visit the splendid San Quirico d'Orcia, where we will have lunch in a typical trattoria to recover the energy to face the demanding climb of Montalcino which is 10 km long with an altitude difference of 500 m.
An exclusive dinner in this fairytale village will close our fourth day.
Overnight at the Hotel dei Capitani.

DAY 5
Montalcino – Acquapendente 72km
Another splendid day among villages surrounded by breathtaking nature.
San Quirico d’Orcia is the first town we come across and the thermal baths in its Bagno Vignoni hamlet are famous.
Along the way the splendid village of Radicofani awaits us dominated by its castle.
Finally we cycle in the region Lazio to the village of Acquapendente (owes its name to the fact that it is located near numerous small waterfalls that flow into the Paglia river) , where we will be rightly rewarded for our efforts with a visit to the historic center but also with an excellent dinner.
Overnight at the Sant Apollinare farmhouse

DAY 6
Acquapendente – Lake Bolsena 65 km
A change of scenery is the main feature of today's ride: we return briefly to Tuscany to get to Pitigliano, with its characteristic historic center called “Little Jerusalem” due to the presence of an ancient Jewish community.
Leaving Pitigliano we head towards Lake Bolsena, a destination that takes us back to Lazio to reach Civita di Bagnoregio.
This unusual village is an unmissable hamlet of 11 inhabitants which is part of the most beautiful villages in Italy, famous for being called "The dying city".
Here a very different landscape will be the setting for an evening with friends and a delicious dinner.
Overnight at the Royal Hotel.
