LANGHE AND RELAX BY BIKE

Spectacular vineyards, changing horizons marked by the profiles of towers, castles, churches and ancient villages, together with a great food and wine tradition, which makes these hills a treasure of flavors. The short daily stages will give you the opportunity to pedal calmly, taking advantage of every stop to better enjoy this magnificent area.

the route winds entirely through the vineyards of the most famous wines of the region. Along the way you can make several stops in the typical villages of the Langhe,  particulary Neive, with its castle, and Barbaresco, with its civic tower, located in a panoramic position over the Tanaro valley.

Percorso facile, si snoda quasi interamente sulla cresta delle colline, con magnifiche viste dei vigneti, lungo la “strada romantica delle Langhe e del Roero”; lungo la strada avrete numerose occasioni di sosta nei paesi delle langhe e concluderete la giornata presso il castello di Serralunga.

The stage begins with a nice descent along the Talloria valley, at the end of which, for those who wish, you can make a detour to visit the castle of Grinzane; the road then continues to Castiglione Falletto, then Barolo, land of one of the most famous and appreciated wines of Piedmont, and probably of Italy, in whose castle there is the regional wine shop and the wine museum. The stage ends in La Morra, a magnificent terrace nestled in the hills of the Langhe.

Today we leave the Langhe temporarily, crossing the Tanaro river, and head to Cherasco, which will welcome you with its historic center perched on the confluence of two rivers.

Let's go back to Alba on the last leg of our journey. The route will take you to Bra (home of the Slow Food movement, a town renowned for its good cuisine) and to Pollenzo, an ancient Roman colony, now home to the University of Taste. In Roddi we can make a small detour to reach the historic center, dominated by the castle, before arriving in Alba.
