How to hike safely the Dolomites in Italy tre07

All itineraries are designed to be escorted by an alpine guide on the basis of the difficulties that the mountain offers.
The treks consider average times that can be managed by the alpine guide himself.
The treks have been selected for journeys of great landscape and emotional impact.

The via ferrata/irion ropes ways/paths foresee alpine guides in a ratio of 1 to 4 therefore where there is a request it is necessary to review the costs on the specific day/s involved.

Meals are foreseen in the alpine huts but according with the chosen trek they may be also taken packed lunch anytime when it is necessary.
The average travel times are based on the preparation of the least gifted or weakest participant, however, trying to maintain an average trek time pleasing the whole group.
Stops for rest or photographs will be decided by the alpine guide in agreement with the participants unless there are higher needs in which case only the alpine guide takes the decision being in any way the only responsible of the group.
The routes may be varied according to the difficulty of the terrain and the weather conditions which can change suddenly.
Where trekking is not possible due to unfavorable weather condition, it will be considered an alternative activity.

The routes offered have been thought and designed according for 5/6 hours trek.
Trekking, as saied, does not include via ferrata.
The lifts that need to be taken are always marked on the proposals.
The alpine guide can handle groups from 15 to 20 persons. Beyond this figures we have to considered a second alpine guide.

Generally speaking the choice of trekkings is wide and starts from 2/3/4 hours and more.
Many other treks include via ferrata routes/rope ways but these require physical preparation and the committment of alpine guide, for security reason, in a ratio of 1 to 4.

The theme of "Ale Vie in the Dolomites" is also handled.
These are paths that develop exclusively at high altitude from Hut to Hut with 5 to 6/7 hours trek as a daily average.
Accommodation in alpine huts is provided; the huts normally have limited accommodation space, rarely in private rooms, but normally with hot water and often shower.
It is necessary to book well in advance since bookings aare from all over the world starting from january.
Often a depositi non refundable is requested.
The cost of the trekking depends very much on the kind of accommodation requested as well as some other services such as transfers, assistance, wine-oil taste, food & wine experience, restaurants choice....
