Rules for managing the next winter skiing season 2020/21 in peace.

To avoid a second setback for winter tourism, Bolzano, the province of the region handling areas such as Val Gardena, Val Badia, Siusi, Renon, Carezza and the Plose is already thinking about the next season by pushing for a common strategy among the Alps destinations. 

The recent summer season has shown how much mountain destinations have won the Covid battle thanks to the natural social distancing, inspiring confidence and attracting Italian and foreign tourists.

Now WINTER is the challenge with the expected ski holidays & safaris, in the anti-covid fight: how should the number of passengers on ski lifts be limited? How apres ski should be managed?  and so on.

Alto Adige with Austria, Germany and Switzerland are then developing a common strategy based on a constant flow of information to better manage the next winter season with rules to allow the clients to spend the holidays safely and  quietly.
Contacts and management policies are evolving slowly; certainly Trentino, Veneto and Lombardia, having important ski resorts such as Cortina, Canazei, Madonna di Campiglio, Livigno, will presumably share these paths. 

Val Gardena has already drawn up its "guidelines" for the next winter season that we summarize:
  1.Intelligent management of queues at waiting points;
  2.Daily sanitation of all cabins, toilets and other public spaces;
  3.Partitions between customers and sales staff;
  4.Higher frequency of ski buses to avoid overcrowding;
  5.Stewards checking and providing information on the security measures in force
  6.Protective measures in the 65 cozy chalets with table service and on top of that large sunny terraces will offer  additional outdoor space;
  7.Val Gardena Covid-19 Test Center" able to evaluate suspicious cases and consequntly be able to issue the relevant certificates for going back home;
  8.The helicopter of the "Aiut Alpin" rescue service is stationing in Val Gardena being available on a 24 hours shift;
  9.Emergency service providing assistance for treatment and help to return home where Covid-19 cases may arise;
  10.Staff constantly updated on the Covid-19 measures on internal training courses;
  11.Possibility to book the ski pass in advance and, through Aemme Viaggi, have it delivered at your hotel/chalet directly.
