TOUR of SARDINIA 2021-8 days
"Life in Sardinia is perhaps the best that a man can hope for: twenty-four thousand kilometers of woods, countryside, coasts immersed in a miraculous sea should coincide with what I would advise the good Lord to give us as Paradise" (Fabrizio de Andrè, a well-known italian singer and songwriter).

For centuries and centuries "on the edge" of the history and trade of the Mediterranean. The sea of ??Sardinia is limpid and very clean, inhabited by many fish and cetaceans, such as dolphins and the very rare monk seal, The coast caters for all tastes: from fine white beaches, to golden sands where lilies and rock roses grow, to hidden streets, to sheer cliffs; from the Costa Smeralda, to the coast south of Olbia to Villasimius, and then to the wild coasts of the east and south-west coasts.
The first traces of human presence (Homo erectus) on the island date back to the lower Paleolithic between 500,000 and 100,000 years ago.
Hence the nuragic civilization that refers to the "nuraghi", the well-known cone-shaped constructions.
Then the Phoenicians, the long Roman dominion started in 215 BC. to last for about 700 years. And then the Vandals, the Byzantines...
A beautiful island, full of sun, charm, history with a rich gastronomy.
