BUSSANO VECCHIA

The violent earthquake of February 23, 1887 semi-destroyed the town Totally abandoned for decades, it began to be inhabited again in the late 1950s by Italian and foreign artists, attracted by the particularity of the place, who renovated and made the least damaged buildings habitable again. It currently hosts an international community of artists, with artisan shops and some refreshment points. Over the years it has become a characteristic artists' village in a medieval village setting.
