MONK MOUNTAIN

Monte Monaco is a rocky massif located in Sicily, part of the Trapani Mountains, in the territory of San Vito Lo Capo. It owes its name to the particular shape that recalls that of a monk on his knees and with his hands blessed in prayer clearly visible from the ancient trap of San Vito Lo Capo.
